The Worthington Cup Final

A superb goalkeeping performance by Jerzy Dudek ensured a clean sheet for Liverpool in their well deserved 2-0 victory. Steven Gerrard oppened the scoring with a long range shot after thirty-nine minutes. Michael Owen completed the scoring when he sprinted clear in the eighty-sixth minute to slot the ball home in typical fashion.
