six glorious minutes The Reds had got back on terms with goals from Steven
Gerrard, Vladimir Smicer and a Xabi Alonso penalty. A great team performance
with breath-taking saves from Jerzy Dudek ensured that the 3-3 score-line
went to a penalty shoot-out. The belief of the players and the fans ensured
that Liverpool were to win a famous victory, which they did by three penalties
to two with a penalty still in hand!
