So nearly a fine victory for England in their opening match of the Euro 2004 Championship when Frank Lampard headed home England’s goal from a David Beckham free kick after thirty-eight minutes.The lead was held until added time at the end of the match when France scored twice to run out 2-1 winners with a direct free kick and a penalty kick both scored by
Zenedine Zidane.
