England ensured their place in the quater finals with a deserved
3-0 win in this 'Last Sixteen' match played at Niigata, Japan. England's goals, which were all scored during the first half, came from a typical Michael Owen opportunist goal between goals scored by Rio Ferdinand and Emile Heskey.
